Development of single-crystalline epitaxial films and bulk crystals (Czochralski, Bridgman), HTSCs for planar Josephson Jonction device technology, nitrides for blue-UV optoelectronics and high-power high-temperature electronics, new piezoelectric crystals for acoustic wave devices, gradient-doped YAG and nanocrystalline ceramics for high-power lasers, etc.
